Thank You Troop 103
The ducks of Sevier Lake are part of what make Shelby so special, and scout troop 103 wants you to know how to keep our winged friends healthy while feeding them. With guidance from the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center, the scouts were recently in the park educating fellow park users on the do's and don’ts of feeding the Mallards, Canadian Geese, and American Black Duck.
- Frozen peas
- Small pieces of lettuce
- Cut up grapes
- Any type of birdseed
- Cracked corn
- Bread of any kind
- Onions or garlic
