The Shelby Recreation Open House is a celebration of all things that get us active - outdoors and in. Shelby Park and Bottoms is home to so many different pastimes from running to rowing, baseball to bird watching, tennis to trail hiking, and soccer to skating.
Join us for an open house showcasing all the amazing ways to have fun in the park! Tour the Shelby Park Community Center, play games, watch demonstrations, and more.

10:00am Family open skate and skating clinic with Shelby Skate in the Gym
10:30am Wiffle ball with the Nashville Sounds, all ages, field by the Tennis Courts
11:00am Hot dogs, chips and drinks by the Friends of Shelby Table (while supplies last)
11:00am Pickup basketball with the Shelby Bulls on the outdoor basketball court
11:00am Futsal in the gym
11:30am Tennis rally challenge with USTA on the upper tennis courts
11:30am Basketball knockout tournament on the outdoor court
Noon Adults vs Kids Dodgeball in the gym
Noon King of Court with US Tennis Association on the upper tennis courts
Noon Intro to pickleball on the lower tennis courts
1:00pm Balance bike races, all ages, with Bike Fun
